This page details the information we collect, how we use it and the safeguards in place to secure your Monulens account.
In brief
Summary of commitments
Monulens does not sell any data and only accesses your photos if you enable cloud backup. Information is encrypted before being stored on our ISO 27001 certified European servers.
Use of this data
• Sync your discoveries across devices
• Provide you with relevant contextual recommendations

Retention
• Account data: as long as your profile is active
• History & favorites: until manual deletion in the app
• Saved photos: 12 months after sending, unless archiving requested
Security
Encryption and hosting
All sensitive data is encrypted client-side (AES-256) before transfer. Backups are hosted on servers located in France and Germany, protected by an application firewall and 24/7 monitoring.

Your rights
Control your information
You can view, modify or delete your data at any time. Official requests receive a response within 30 business days.
From the app
Settings > Privacy allows you to export your data, purge history or disable photo backup.
By email
Send your requests to privacy@monulens.com specifying the address used in the app. We verify your identity before any action.
Account deletion
Deletion results in immediate erasure of your backups and a 30-day grace period for recovery upon written request.
